All of our vehicles come freshly serviced and we’d recommend getting your next service every 10,000km’s or 6 months whichever comes first, to keep your car running smoothly.

Camping Equipment
We can fit your vehicle with any specified camping equipment. We can also recommend what equipment you may need depending on your travels, such as roof tents, dual battery systems, dual drawers etc.

6 Month Warranty
All of our vehicles come with a 6 month mechanical warranty, meaning in the unlikely situation that your car does break down, it’ll be covered under warranty to be mechanically repaired.

Book in to come into our workshop and discuss vehicle options with our team that suit your travels / budget as well as camping equipment
Step 2Choose vehicle / equipment
Check out the vehicle / equipment options and choose what you’d like. Once decided we will create an invoice for you to place a 30% deposit on your setup
Step 3Vehicle preparation
We will begin preparing your vehicle, servicing it, doing a final mechanical inspection and installing camping equipment
Step 4Pick up your vehicle
Come to the workshop to finalise paperwork and make the final payment. We can also help with roadside assistance, insurance and answer any vehicle related questions
Step 5Begin your travels!
You are now ready with your new vehicle setup to start exploring the wonders Australia has to offer
Pre purchase a vehicle
Step 1consultation
Contact our team via Instagram, email or phone to discuss vehicle options that suit your travels / budget as well as camping equipment. Also provide us with your arrival date
Step 2place deposit
Following your consultation, an initial 30% deposit must be made based on your overall budget, to which we will then begin finding you a vehicle. Once we have found a vehicle, a second 30% deposit must be made
Step 3Vehicle preparation
We will begin preparing your vehicle, servicing it, doing a final mechanical inspection and installing camping equipment - ready for your arrival date
Step 4Pick up your vehicle
Come to the workshop to finalise paperwork and make the final payment. We can also help with roadside assistance, insurance and answer any vehicle related questions
Step 5Begin your travels!
You are now ready with your new vehicle setup to start exploring the wonders Australia has to offer

Vehicles flow in and out of our workshop weekly, so in order to keep updated with what we have in stock, follow our Instagram @backpackercars_australia as we upload stories regularly with new vehicles coming in alongside an “available” highlight tab displaying all available cars.

Our vehicles start at $10,000 for an AWD - $12,500 for a 4x4 and $15,000 for a camper van. This starting price is for the vehicle alone, not including extra camping equipment installed.

Yes! We can fit whatever camping equipment you’d like on your own vehicle.

So yes, we offer a consingment deal whereby we will sell your vehicle for you and provide you with 60% of the selling price
Of course there are a few factors involved with whether or not we’ll accept your vehicle and if we need to make repairs etc. so contact us for more details
